1.Material:

The vessel body is primarily constructed from Carbon Steel. Carbon steel offers good mechanical strength, workability, and cost-effectiveness, making it a standard material for medium- and low-pressure vessels. ● Pressure Stabilization: Provides a steady and consistent gas pressure to downstream equipment.

● Cooling & Separation: Allows the compressed gas to cool inside the tank, promoting the condensation and separation of water vapor and oil mist, which are then discharged via a bottom drain valve.

● Emergency Reserve: Supplies gas for a short period in case of a temporary interruption in the gas supply.

4.Main Components:

● Shell and Heads: Form the primary pressure boundary, typically consisting of a cylindrical shell with elliptical or dished heads.

● Nozzles/Connections: Include inlet, outlet, safety valve connection, pressure gauge connection, manhole or handhole (for inspection and maintenance), drain port, etc.

● Safety Attachments: Essential safety devices include a Safety Valve (to prevent overpressure) and a Pressure Gauge (to indicate live pressure).

● Support: Usually a skirt or leg support to anchor the vessel to its foundation.

5.Design & Compliance:
